Prelude: As we see recently many game shows are blooming and setting new records in terms of exhibition scale and reaching more people worldwide, Gamescom in Germany sees an unprecedented number of Asian developers participating in the event. Speaking of games from Asia, besides legacy Japanese developers such as Nintendo, Sony, Bandai Namco, etc, mobile games have become the most dynamic drive for global entertainment business growth in the past decade. In 2024, Top 20 games on Steam have witnessed a strong rise in Chinese PC games. It seems Asian games have become the “Elephant in the room” that Westerners have to face at this point.
