Streams Charts has compiled a ranking of the most popular Twitch streamers in the third quarter of 2023. This time, several top content creators made it to the top; especially successful were the ones showcasing live boxing matches, football games, and racing events. One of these broadcasts even set a Twitch record for the highest number of concurrent viewers.
Ibai, a Spanish streamer, becomes the most-watched Twitch creator in Q3 2023. In three months, his channel accumulated 37.2 million Hours Watched. Around 60% of this total came from the broadcast of the boxing show event LA VELADA DEL AÑO III, which took place on July 1. During that stream, Ibai set a new record for the highest number of concurrent viewers among all Twitch channels, with over 3.44 million.
Brazilian streamer Gaules secures second place in the ranking with 30 million Hours Watched. In the third quarter, he covered professional Counter-Strike tournaments, including ESL Pro League Season 18, Gamers8 2023, IEM Cologne 2023, BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023, and others. As usual, Gaules’ streams ran almost non-stop (including replays).
Fps_shaka once again proved to be the most popular Twitch streamer from Japan. In the third quarter of this year, his channel accumulated over 21.5 million HW. Almost half of these were accumulated thanks to GTA V broadcasts. Besides it, fps_shaka streamed Street Fighter 6, Escape from Tarkov, and Valorant.
German streamer eliasn97 amassed 20.5 million HW in the third quarter, which is a 25% increase from the second quarter. He managed to achieve this growth through collaborative streams with guests, entertaining live events like Battle of the Socials, as well as through a summer subathon (broadcasts that viewers can extend by subscribing to the channel).
South Korean streamer handongsuk closes out the Top 5 most-watched streamers of the quarter. From July to September, he accumulated 19.4 million HW while playing Lost Arc, Teamfight Tactics, and MapleStory.
American streamer Tarik accumulated 18.4 million HW in the last three months. A significant portion of them were accumulated thanks to the Valorant Champions 2023 broadcasts, the event that took place in August. Overall, Tarik’s total Hours Watched for the third quarter decreased by 23% due to a decline in the streamer’ time on air.
Kai Cenat ranks seventh with a total of 16.7 million HW. In the third quarter, his overall airtime also significantly decreased by nearly 36%, which caused a slight drop in Hours Watched.
Brazilian streamer Cellbit accumulated 16.7 million HW in the third quarter of 2023. His broadcasts of Minecraft and collaborative streams with other streamers as part of the Paranormal Order role-playing series played a significant role in this result; the show also helped him set new channel record for Peak Viewers.
American streamer k3soju takes ninth place in the Twitch streamer ranking for the third quarter. During the period from July to September, his channel amassed 13.8 million HW, all thanks to regular broadcasts of Teamfight Tactics.
American streamer Jynxzi closes out the Top 10. In three months, he accumulated 13.3 million HW on his channel, mainly from broadcasts of Rainbow Six Siege. It is worth noting that Jynxzi became the leader in terms of subscribers on the platform in August. You can read more about his success story here.
Most Popular Twitch Streamers in Q3 2023
The Peak Viewers number shows the episodic successes of content creators on the most popular streams. In the third quarter of the year, ibai became the leader in this metric. As we mentioned earlier, his stream of the boxing show match LA VELADA DEL AÑO III gathered 3.44 million Twitch viewers concurrently. This is the best result in the history of the platform.
Second place in the ranking belongs to French streamer Squeezie. In September, he organized and hosted the racing event GP Explorer 2, where popular content creators participated in Formula 4 races. The stream of this event on Squeezie’s channel was watched by 1.34 million Peak Viewers, which became a personal record for the Frenchman.
American streamer Kai Cenat takes third place in the Top. His most popular broadcast in the second quarter of 2023 gathered 306K PV. This happened on July 4, when Kai and his friends launched a festive fireworks display right in his own house and streamed it live.
The most popular ohnePixel broadcast in the third quarter of 2023 gathered approximately 236K PV. During that stream, the German streamer opened CS:GO cases with a total value of $100K. Currently, ohnePixel can be considered one of the most popular English-speaking community casters of CS:GO.
Gaules also had his most popular stream thanks to CS:GO. During the broadcast of the FURIA Esports versus Grayhound match at IEM Cologne 2023, his channel gathered 222K PV.
In the third quarter of the year, Tarik, Cellbit, and rivers_gg showed almost identical viewership results. Tarik gathered the biggest audience thanks to the stream of the Valorant Champions 2023 final, Cellbit engaged viewers with broadcasts of Paranormal Order, and rivers_gg’s most popular broadcast was the final of the Queens League (in which her team, PIO FC, became the season’s champion).
LIENDRA and Gotaga also made it into the ranking, as they also achieved almost the same numbers in the third quarter of the year. Colombian LIENDRA gathered over 180K PV during the broadcast of the boxing show-event KING of the RING. 179K viewers gathered on Gotaga’s stream to watch the match between Gentle Mates and Apeks in Valorant.
Most Popular Twitch Streamers by Average Viewers in Q3 2023
The Average Viewers metric allows for a more accurate assessment of the popularity of specific streamers, regardless of the type of content during individual broadcasts. In the third quarter of 2023, the leader in this metric was the Spanish streamer ibai. Also in the Top 3 were Kai Cenat and PaulinhoLOKObr.
Only five Twitch streamers had over 40K AV in the third quarter of the year. Apart from the aforementioned three, this achievement was also accomplished by Canadian streamer xQc and Mexican streamer rivers_gg.
It is important to note that this ranking includes only streamers who had more than 100 hours of broadcasts in the third quarter of 2023. Due to this, the French streamer Squeezie did not make it into the Top, despite having 158.1K Average Viewers, as he had only 49 hours of airtime over the three months.
