3D Environment Scene created in Unreal 5 to practice my ability to write advanced smart materials and shaders. All the vegetations are from Megascans/3rd party packages; the weather effect and the wet shader are from Ultra Dynamic Sky package; the rest of the shaders and VFXs (water, fog, mist, falling leaves/petals, smart landscape materials, candle fire) were created by myself in Unreal. This is also my first time setting up and using camera track and record cinematic shots in Unreal. Very interesting experience!
The props are from a previous set of kitbashed environmental assets that I completed in Blender, the details and the textures are not the best and I am just using them to provide this Asian Village vibe.

Smart Water shader that controls waves, foam, rain ripple, flower, mud, leaves and refractions.

A simple fog and mist material that creates ground fog.

Smart landscape material that controls Albedo (brightness, contrast, saturation) and distance blend, color blend, scale and the ability to determine whether an area is a cliff or not.
